Carroty is the flavor of the season in the automotive world. Yesterday we mentioned how stunning the Ford ‘Carroty’ Mustang looked with a similar color scheme dominating the interior and now there is another one in LA, which sports a similar tinge. I am talking about VW’s keenly awaited 4×4 the VW Tiguan.
The VW Tiguan was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show 2006 and as anticipated by many automotive enthusiasts this one from VW is a solid muscular SUV with an eye catching exterior as well as interior. In comparison with the Concept A, this one looks more conventional.

Klaus Bischoff, the exterior designer of this concept quoted:
It was very important for us to have the car appear powerful and muscular. For us that was a higher priority than anything else. An off-roader needs a long hood and an upright position. That lends the vehicle self-assuredness and power.

Under the hood, the VW Tiguan sports a new BLUETEC TDi engine, which has been developed in collaboration with Audi and Mercedes Benz. The engine empowers this SUV to meet the strictest emission standards be it anywhere in the world.

The customers can expect this one to be available for purchase by the end of 2007 and the production version will be very much similar to this sizzling concept!
