It is amazing how car manufacturers think of technologically supreme ways not only whilst designing cars but even whilst delivering them. Take for instance Volkswagen, which sets a unique tone in this regard with its twin circular towers that succeeded in housing and delivering 800 cars. Recognized as the Volkswagen Autoturme by locals, these structures are transparent and they rise 48 meters from the ground. Each section of this building is automated internally and then externally to the Factory from where it picks the production ready models and the KudenCenter from where the customers pick their new purchases.

These towers act as such a potent delivering machine that they can render a car for purchase in 45 seconds during peak season. I really haven’t heard of any other carmaker that uses such laudable technology even outside the cars or maybe that I haven’t researched enough on the others. Considering the way things happen in the VW factory, I feel it is the right time to hit the search button and explore how the others do it.
