This was the first week of the Frankfurt Motor Show and the hottest for premieres and unveiling of models. Bugatti introduced a special version of its hottest car, the Bugatti EB16.4 Veyron Pur Sang. Pur Sang means ‘pure blood’ or ‘thoroughbred’, no doubt about it, the Veyron is a thoroughbred. Toyota showcased its iQ concept, an ultra compact, space efficient and environment friendly model aimed at the urban Europeans.
Bugatti EB16.4 Veyron Pur Sang: The Pur Sang is a special edition Veyron and was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Only 5 Pur Sangs will be built, and needless to say, all sold out within 24 hours of the model’s launch.
Pur Sang’s body is made of an extremely pure aluminium alloy and carbon fiber, with no paint. The company also managed to chop off 100kgs from the ‘regular’ Veyron for the Pur Sang, to give it a stunning power-to-weight ratio of 1.88kg/hp.

Toyota’s iQ for Europe: Created by Toyota’s European design studio, it reflects Toyota’s design philosophy of ‘Vibrant Clarity’. The concept has a length of 2980mm and a unique 3+1 seat layout.
Exteriors of the car feature clear and good looking curves. The car moves on 17-inch tyres. Interiors of the car are as beautiful as its exterior; the dashboard swoops away from the front passenger, providing extra room. A purple theme is carried in the interiors, with purple on seats, door trims and dashboard.
