The week saw two huge launches. Aston Martin released the DBS, a car a lot of people were waiting for. The wait did not go unrewarded, as Aston Martin revealed a gorgeous car with more power than its predecessor. Infiniti released its Europe expansion plans and a new crossover, the 2008 Infiniti EX.

Aston Martin DBS revealed: This car had everybody waiting since Casino Royale. Aston Martin finally revealed the DBS, it is as stunning as expected. The engine is the 6.0L V12 of the DB9, but with modifications to boost performance. A ‘by-pass’ air intake that opens up above 550rpm to provide more air to the engine and re-profiled air inlet ports to improve airflow in the combustion chambers, are some modifications to the original engine. The engine churns up a power of 510hp and a torque of 570Nm.

Transmission is a six-speed manual. Riding on 20-inch tyres, the car can sprint to 100kmph in 4.3 seconds and has a top-speed of 302kmph. A host of options and standard equipment bundled together with great looks make the DBS a good car.
