Chevy Captiva

Auto Express got to test-ride Chevy’s new Captiva. They provided useful insights into the car and here are some of the highlights to help you make up your mind before it hits the shops next February.

Two models of the Captiva are expected — LT model and LS model. Auto Express was impressed with the tall and imposing build of the car. If your family is more in numbers then you would be glad to know that both 5 or 8 seating is possible. Besides, if you job keeps you on the road often the Captiva would suit you fine as it comes with one of the best suspension set-up that enables smooth and accurate controls.

However, the disappointing sides are — the notchy manual five-speed transmission, the placed too low heating panel and stereo, and noises from the door mirrors.

Nevertheless, if you are still determined to get one the five seater LS model for £16,000 and the seven seater LT model for £18,500.
