When you own a car as hot as Citroen’s new executive model, C6 then you would obviously want to flaunt it everywhere and anywhere... even when it is parked. This is the essence of Citroen’s ‘Designer Garage’. Built by none other then Neutral of Munichs’s Allianz Arena fame, it is a class apart in beauty and sophistication.
With expenditure running to £112,330, the garage is three times the cost of the car it houses. Inspired by the car itself, the garage’s architectural feature depicts three solid strands to support a 3m tall and 50 m2 wide structure. The car can conveniently enter either from the front or from rear transparent sliding doors built out of environmentally friendly polycarbonate sheet. Molded purely out of light transmitting concrete, the car becomes conspicuous to any onlooker. In case you get selfish, and want to enjoy the sight of your car all to yourself, then the coloured LCD layers in the sheets provides opacity when it is switched on to the privacy mode.
Neutral’s Christian Grou, believes the garage ‘encourages a visual dialogue between the inside and outside, and between the car and its environment as a result of the use of materials of different transparencies. The C6 is a truly individual statement, and one which deserves more than a run of the mill, brick and mortar garage.

To those filthy rich who doesn’t care much about the amount, this amazing garage would be a sure hit. What better way to complement a hot looking C6 than an equally gleaming structure like this one.
