This Honda NSX racer has been created by UK based racing team John Danby Racing, and will make its debut at the final round of Britcar Championship. The matte-black sports car comes with features like engine control and data logging services with GPS, fly by wire, live feed video, and custom dampers and brakes.

Back in July, Local Motors had announced that the Rally Fighter concept would see the light of the day. Primarily the work of designer Sangho Kim, the Rally Fighter has received touches from numerous designers; as many as 2000 are said to have worked on the design.
Aston Martin unveiled the Rapide at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and they have now released a whole lot of photographs of the stylish new car. The car is powered by a 6.0-l V12 that endows it with 470bhp of power and 600 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed Touchtronic 2 transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
It was nearly two years ago that Ken Block put his Subaru WRX STI through jumps in the snow, and after numerous eye-catching stunts, the man is back with his STI in tracks. Block’s TRAX STI is his WRX STI rally car with snowcat tracks, and its pushing through snow in a way only Ken Block can. This a preview video of a test run, and if it is that good, we can only imagine how cool the real thing would be. In addition to the tracks, the car also has reworked suspension and shockers, and a 2.5-liter turbo boxer four that churns out 400 bhp.

The HSV Encore concept from designer Edwin Conan was an innovative, futuristic ride dated for the year 2020, and his new Audi Avatar concept is another futuristic supercar, dated for 2032. The futuristic Avatar connects to Audi’s past by getting inspiration from the 1937 Auto Union Type C streamliner, and also incorporates the tech and power required for a supercar of the future.
For all the lengths automakers go to reduce the weight of a vehicle, one component is often left untouched, the engine. And it looks like they could have massive weight savings by using plastic engines to power cars. Matti Holtzberg, an engineer and president of Polimotor Research has been working on plastic engines for nearly three decades now, and the company’s plastic engines do appear to be working well.
Drones have been vastly successful in offence, and looks like their chopper cousins are ready to get into the action by sniffing out Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). IEDs have long been a trouble for forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, and these unmanned choppers will find these explosives by tracking the electromagnetic emissions that are emitted from the wireless receivers used to trigger IEDs.
